This blog is called exactly what I plan it to be ... just some rambling thoughts. I decided initially to organize these thoughts into three categories, though that may change over time. These categories are: Panama (the country, the people, the customs, and life here), on_life (just that, its beauties and cruelties), and technobabble (an area where my ramblings may become more than a little technical).
Regardless of the area, your thoughts, criticisms, witicism, and relevant ramblings are welcome, in fact, encouraged. Please feel free to drop me a line at david dot bandel at gmail dot com. I am working on making this blog interactive so you can leave your comments, but I need to make sure the spammers don't take advantage. While I have a thick skin, I would prefer that comments remain tasteful and family oriented (please). Opinions that consist largely of vulgarities may be edited or removed (censored). I will not remove comments merely because they express opinions contrary to my own -- in fact, those I may highlight, especially well thought out ones.
Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy.
