OpenOffice offers a very low-cost alternative Office Suite. Open Office will import and export most proprietary file formats, including MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and more. This product is available for Linux and Windows. So save yourself and your business money and the distraction of having to maintain license accountability.
SQL-Ledger Accounting offers an economical alternative for businesses needing a robust accounting application. The package is suitable for most businesses and includes Point-of-Sale, Inventory Control, and Multi-Store. SQL-Ledger Accounting is licensed under the GPL (GNU Public License).
A complete plug and play solution for protecting your network. Completely invisible, just connect between your ISP and your internal network (no IP required). All Microsoft ports (42, 135, 137, 138, 139, 445) blocked by default. This firewall only permits outgoing connections. Incoming connection attempts are blocked at the firewall. At less than 60w. power consumption, this system is an economic alternative for protecting your network.
This next step up in firewalls can be used if you need/want a more conventional firewall. Can be configured via DHCP or with a static external IP. This firewall can be configured to permit connections from outside to your web, mail, ftp, or other server(s). This server can also be used to build VPNs to branch offices anywhere in the world, providing access to those branches as if they were in the same building while still protecting your network from external access. Consumes less than 90w.
Mail, DNS, DHCP, and/or web servers (including SQL servers) built to your specifications. These servers can handle anything an E-1 can throw at them. Expertly configured sendmail, BIND 9, Apache, DHCP servers. Assistance setting up and accessing PostgreSQL SQL servers via Perl scripts to build dynamic web pages also available.
We can economically maintain your Linux systems up-to-date for you, relieving you of those worries. Contract prices depend on number of systems maintained.
If you require high availability, we can monitor your services and ensure they stay on-line. We can also monitor your network traffic for anomolous traffic (viruses, intruders, file sharing abuses, etc.). Prices depend on services required.
Pananix also offers Linux classes. Classes can be conducted at your premises or in classroom space maintained by Pananix, S.A. Classes are "hands-on" and students actually perform all tasks they are taught. Custom or standard courses, up to 12 students per class. We don't just teach how to do things, we teach why things work the way they do.
