I totally understand the reluctance. But I would be glad to commit to
running it for testing.
BTW, do I need to register for the conference in Saskatoon? If so, where do
I go to do that?

Hi Gord,
Duly noted. I will need schools to actually run scheduling for testing, etc.
to make sure it works correctly, etc. This would mean a commitment by you to
help with testing, correct? (grin). I will need some others, too.
I've been "assiduously avoiding" scheduling since it will mean a lot of work
and other things will grind to a halt once I start that. I wrote a scheduler
years ago in Prolog (Borland)... and it was a lot of work.
I'm looking at the Tablix scheduler (www.tablix.org). The first step would
be to extend the subject table to add additional fields for scheduling and
then export this information in XML format in Tablix DTD format.
I'll take a look at this after the 2.x release. I'm basically done most
gradebook fixes for now and the SDS stuff is probably 70% done. (and will
come out next). The translation coding is mostly done, but there is still
the cgi work to do converting into .tpl (template) format and some of the
new installation code (automated).
