[OA] Gradebook Assessment Item Addition

Hiya,

The problem is this: When a teacher adds a new item, she/he doesn't know
what kind of weighting to give to that item. Based on the group it's going
into, this 'new improved' page will show, for each group, what is the most
common weighting score.

By simply clicking the radio button of your choice, it automatically
assigns the group and weight to match the other items of the same group.
(and of course one can still set the group and weight separately via the
bottom box...)

The object of the game is to simplify the problems of continually having
to reweight your items when new assessment items are added.

This change is designed to help with the problem of item weighting WITHIN
groups.

Then, when we add group locking (at the subject level), the only choices
teachers would have would be the weighting of items WITHIN those locked
groups.

As a result, the weighting issue 'can' be simplified with something like
what I have here, along with some sort of group locking. If desired, we
could allow teachers to adjust the group percentages and lock/unlock
features directly from the gradebook, also.

Does that make some sense (and I'm probably not explaining it very
well...)? How can I make this change easier to understand?
